How to Register a Business or Government Organisation on BilaFundi

Why Register an Organisation?

Individual user accounts on BilaFundi cannot post tenders. Tender posting is restricted to registered organisations — either business (private companies) or government (public sector entities). Registering an organisation also gives you access to:

• Enterprise procurement workflows with multi-evaluator scoring
• Framework agreements and call-off contracts
• An organisation profile with a verification badge
• Team management — invite colleagues as owners, admins, or members
• Organisation-level analytics and procurement history

Creating Your Organisation

1. From your dashboard, click Register Organisation in the sidebar, or navigate to /organisations/create.
2. Fill in the registration form:
   • Organisation name — the full legal name of the company or government entity.
   • Type: Business (private sector) or Government (public sector, statutory body, or parastatal). Government organisations receive a priority badge on their tenders and elevated visibility.
   • Country — where the organisation is registered.
   • Registration number — your company or government registration number.
   • VAT / Tax number (optional but recommended for verification).
   • Logo — upload your organisation's official logo.
3. Click Create Organisation. You become the owner of the organisation automatically.

Organisation Verification

BilaFundi admins review registered organisations and award a Verified badge to those with confirmed registration documents. Verified organisations appear more credible to providers and attract stronger tender applications. To improve your chances of verification, ensure your registration number and any uploaded documents are accurate and match official records.

Inviting Team Members

As the organisation owner, you can invite colleagues to join. Go to /organisation/members and enter their email address. They receive an invitation link. When they accept, they are added to the organisation with the role you assign:

• Owner — full control, including billing and deleting the organisation.
• Admin — can post tenders, manage applications, and invite members.
• Member — can view tenders and applications but cannot post or manage them.

Organisation Dashboard

Once registered, your organisation dashboard is at /organisation/dashboard. From here you can manage tenders, review applications, track contracts, view analytics, and manage your team — all in one place.
