Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out the rules for using BilaFundi. Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

You Must Not

Fraud and Misrepresentation

• Claim qualifications, certifications, or experience you do not have
• Impersonate another person, business, or government entity
• Post fake reviews or ratings
• Create duplicate accounts to circumvent a suspension

Illegal Activity

• Use BilaFundi to facilitate bribery, corruption, or money laundering
• Post tenders or services that violate applicable law
• Discriminate against providers or clients on the basis of race, gender, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics

Platform Integrity

• Attempt to hack, scrape, or overload the platform
• Reverse-engineer or copy the BilaFundi platform
• Circumvent platform fees by taking transactions off-platform after initial contact through BilaFundi
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages or offers

Content

• Upload offensive, defamatory, or sexually explicit content
• Share another user's private information without their consent
• Post malicious files or links

Reporting Violations

If you see content or behaviour that violates this policy, report it using the flag/report button on any listing, profile, or message, or email trust@bilafundi.com.

Enforcement

We investigate all reports. Actions we may take include: content removal, warning, temporary suspension, permanent ban, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended in error, email appeals@bilafundi.com with details of your case. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
