The Verbandsgemeindewerk Prüm is planning the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant (Kläranlage) in Weinsheim, located outside the settlement along road K 179 towards B410 in the direction of Prüm and Gerolstein. The facility is designed as a biological treatment plant for 3,000 population equivalents (EW), using the BIOCOS® process with a two-lane setup comprising aeration tanks and sedimentation/circulation basins (SU-Becken). The overall project is divided into three lots: Lot 1 (civil/structural engineering – Bautechnik), Lot 2 (plant engineering), and Lot 3 (EMSR technology); this tender covers Lot 1 – Bautechnik (structural construction works).
